How CGPA is calculated

CGPA is the credit-weighted average of your semester GPAs. Each semester GPA is multiplied by that semester's credit hours, summed, then divided by the total credit hours: CGPA = Σ(GPA × credits) ÷ Σ(credits).

Example

Semester 1 (GPA 3.6, 18 credits) and Semester 2 (GPA 3.4, 18 credits): (3.6×18) + (3.4×18) = 126, divided by 36 credits = CGPA 3.50.

Frequently Asked Questions
