Nepali Calendar

Bikram Sambat (BS) is the official calendar of Nepal and runs roughly 56 years and 8 months ahead of the Gregorian (AD) calendar. It is a lunisolar system, so each of its twelve months — Baishakh, Jestha, Ashadh, Shrawan, Bhadra, Ashwin, Kartik, Mangsir, Poush, Magh, Falgun and Chaitra — can hold anywhere from 29 to 32 days, and the exact lengths change year to year. This calendar computes those lengths from a verified conversion table so the days always line up with the printed patro.

The large number in each cell is the BS day and the small number is the matching English (AD) date. Today is highlighted, Saturdays are shown in red because they are the weekly holiday, and marked days flag festivals and public holidays.
