Good to know
Why leap years matter
A leap year adds 29 February roughly every four years to keep the calendar aligned with the solar year. Because the tools use real calendar dates, they count these extra days automatically, so a span crossing a leap year is measured correctly.
Counting in years, months and days
Months have different lengths, so a gap cannot simply be divided by 30. The date difference calculator counts whole months and the leftover days precisely, then also gives the total in days and weeks for when you need a single number.
Working with Nepali dates
These tools work in the Gregorian (AD) system. To calculate with a Bikram Sambat date, convert it to AD first using the BS to AD converter, run your calculation, and convert back if you need the answer in BS.
