How to convert PDF to Word

  1. Upload your PDF file.
  2. The tool extracts the text content page by page.
  3. Download an editable Word (.docx) document.
  4. Open it in Microsoft Word, Google Docs or any compatible editor.

What gets converted

This tool focuses on the text content of your PDF so you can edit it freely. It works best on text-based PDFs such as letters, reports and forms. Complex multi-column layouts, embedded images and exact fonts may not be reproduced. PDFs created by scanning paper are images of text, so they contain no selectable text to extract unless they have already been run through OCR.

Common uses

  • Reusing text from a report or article without retyping it.
  • Updating a contract or letter that only exists as a PDF.
  • Copying content into a new document or template.
  • Making quick edits to a form before resharing it.
