How to split a PDF
- Upload your PDF file.
- Choose to split by page ranges (for example 1-3, 4-6) or to extract every page into its own file.
- Run the split to generate the separate PDFs.
- Download the results, bundled into a ZIP when there is more than one.
Ranges vs one page per file
Use page ranges when you want a few specific sections, such as pulling pages 1-3 into one file and 4-6 into another. Use extract every page when you need each page as an individual PDF — handy for separating a batch of scanned documents that ended up in one file.
Common uses
- Pulling a single chapter or section out of a large document.
- Separating scanned pages that were saved as one PDF.
- Breaking a big report into smaller, easier-to-share files.
- Extracting just the pages someone actually needs.
