Everyday math
Calculators
Fast, accurate calculators for percentages, interest, EMI, GPA, age and more.
Available now
Our calculators turn everyday maths into a single, reliable step. Instead of remembering formulas or opening a spreadsheet, you enter your numbers and read a clear result — whether that is a percentage, an average, a ratio or a date difference. Each one shows its working where it helps, so you can trust the answer rather than just copy it.
Every calculator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded, there is no sign up, and results update the moment you change an input. That makes them fast to use on both phone and desktop, and safe for sensitive figures like income, loan amounts or exam marks.
How to use these tools
- Pick the calculator that matches your problem from the list above — for example the percentage calculator for discounts and the EMI calculator for loan instalments.
- Type your numbers into the input fields. Results recalculate live as you type, so there is no separate "calculate" button to press.
- Adjust any options such as the interest rate, time period or grading scale so they match your real situation.
- Read the full breakdown, not just the headline figure. Totals like total interest, sum or count let you sanity-check the result.
- Save the tool for quick access later, or copy the result straight into a message, form or notebook.
Common ways people use them
- Splitting a restaurant bill or working out a tip in seconds with the basic and percentage calculators.
- Checking a shop’s advertised discount before you pay so you know the real sale price.
- Comparing two loan offers side by side using the EMI and loan calculators.
- Turning a student’s marks into a percentage, grade and GPA at the end of a term.
- Counting the exact number of days until an exam, deadline, wedding or trip.
Good to know
What a percentage really is
A percentage is simply a number expressed as a fraction of 100. To find 15% of 800 you multiply 800 by 15 and divide by 100, giving 120. The percentage calculator does this both ways: it can find a percentage of a number, and tell you what percent one number is of another.
Simple vs compound interest
Simple interest is charged only on the original principal, so it grows in a straight line. Compound interest is charged on the principal plus previously added interest, so it grows faster over time. Use the simple interest calculator for short, flat arrangements and the compound interest calculator for savings and long-term growth.
Mean, ratios and rounding
The average calculator returns the arithmetic mean — the sum of your numbers divided by how many there are. The ratio calculator reduces a ratio to its lowest whole-number terms and can solve for a missing value. Where results are rounded for display, the underlying calculation uses full precision.

Frequently asked questions
- Are these calculators free to use?
- Yes. Every calculator on the site is completely free, with no account, download or usage limit.
- Do my numbers get sent to a server?
- No. All calculations happen locally in your browser, so the values you enter never leave your device.
- Which calculator should I use for loan instalments?
- Use the EMI calculator for a standard monthly instalment, or the loan calculator when you need monthly, quarterly or yearly payments and a full interest breakdown.
- How do I calculate a percentage increase or decrease?
- Open the percentage calculator and use the increase/decrease mode: enter the original and new values and it returns the change as a percentage, which is useful for price changes and exam improvements.
- Why does my result have several decimal places?
- Calculations run at full precision and only the display is rounded. Where a specific number of decimals matters, the tool shows enough places for the result to stay accurate.
- Can I use them on my phone?
- Yes. Every calculator is mobile-friendly and works in any modern browser without installing an app.
